The mission of the  Administrative/Professional (A/P) Committee represents its constituencies by fostering communication within the University community, reviewing other institution-related matters to help improve the quality of services, and advance the University's mission.  Committee members are also encouraged to inform the University administration concerning matters that are of interest and relevant to employees.  In addition, disseminate information back to the constituencies of pending actions that might affect their environment.

The purpose of the A/P Committee is to provide improved communication campus-wide among employees. In addition, the A/P Committee coordinates A/P Employee quarterly recognition, participates on other University committees when asked, coordinates events including charitable and fundraising events, and assists the Classified Committee with the annual Classified and A/P Employee picnic, specifically providing funds for the lunch.
