No tailgating for academic year
The University of La Verne is a "dry" campus. The University prohibits possession and/or consumption of any alcoholic beverage while on University property.
Designed to provide an additional venue for positive engagement and community support of the University's Athletics Program, the University of La Verne Tailgate Policy was developed by a dedicated team of University employees, and was accepted by the President's Executive Council, the Board of Trustees, and the City of La Verne. The policy will be in effect for all University of La Verne home football, baseball, softball and soccer games and will be enforced by Campus Safety.
|Correct Tailgate Set-Up||Incorrect Tailgate Set-up|
|To properly set up your tailgate, please keep all tables, chairs, coolers, barbeques, etc within the parking stall (s) in your party. You may NOT take up extra parking stalls for your equipment. The diagram below illustrates the correct way to set up your tailgate.||We appreciate your cooperation so that we may provide football fans with a safe and enjoyable tailgate experience.|
