Please See the Link Below for Moving Your Courses Online
Workshops provide a space to learn about new techniques, theories, and ideas while you translate what you have learned to fit your experiences and approach. They are also a great place to see what others are doing. Our workshops are designed with ULV students and teachers in mind, centering on localized needs.
Past workshops have addressed many topics ranging from course design, easier/more productive feedback, and communicating with students. As we worked with various people, we heard calls for information about reflection, more on backwards design, and universal design for learning.
Recordings of many of our past workshops are avalable in the CTL Online Blackboard Organization. If you are enrolled, you will se it in your Blackboard Organizations area. If you do not see the organization but would like access, please email us at email@example.com
Please watch for upcoming workshops in August and beyond.
An important part of growing as practitioners comes from learning from one another. We will be offering several learning communities, such as a new faculty learning community, a diversity and inclusion learning community, and a scholarship of teaching and learning group. These groups provide a chance to come together around a common interest and to apply what you discover in your personal context. Past learning communities we have offered are
New Faculty Learning Community
Scholarship on Teaching and Learning
Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
