The University of La Verne proudly supports bicyclists who use their bikes to come to campus, travel throughout the area, and enjoy rides to many of our featured locations in the region.
As part of that support, we offer resources and information to out cyclists so that they are more informed, more aware, and safer while riding.
If you are bringing a bike to campus, we recommend doing the following:
Are your tires low on air? Does your seat need adjusting? Are your pedals loose? You can make repairs to your bicycle at the Bike Fixtation work stand. The work stand is located on the south side of the bike racks located between the Campus Center and Hanawalt House. Want a bike for the day, the weekend or the semester? The free Leo Bike Library offers bikes for you to use locally and provides you with a helmet and u-lock to help you enjoy your planned outing and travel. Bikes are available to registered students and employees only.

Note: Due to the COIVD-19 pandemic, University of La Verne is not distributing the class pass. Through August 1, 2021, student at University of La Verne can ride Foothill Local and Silver Streak Buses by showing their school ID.
The University will provide employees and students who ride the bus to campus with a FREE Foothill Transit pass.
Please go to Student Services in Woody Hall and ask for your FREE TAP card. You can also get TAP card services at La Verne City Hall, located at 3660 D St., La Verne, CA.

The University will provide carpool permits to full time staff members, full time faculty member and Adjunct faculty members who carpool with one or more University of La Verne employee. The permit is issued after all carpool members sign a waiver Carpool Statement and return it to Transportation and Parking Services.
Carpool members will be provided with one free* lunch voucher for The Spot per week, per carpool member, when they carpool with another University employee each day that week.

The Foothill Gold Line Construction Authority is preparing the 12.3 mile, six station Glendora to Montclair segment of the Gold Line for construction. This new segment of the Gold Line will provide much needed transportation options for tens of thousands of students, commuters and the more than one million visitors who travel to the Los Angeles County Fair each year.
