All University lots and the parking structure are open to any vehicle displaying a University issued or daily parking permit. A University issued parking permit or daily permit must be displayed when parking in University parking lots and the parking structure (including on the 5th floor of the parking structure), Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Vehicles may park in all University lots and in the parking structure WITHOUT a permit on weekdays from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and on weekends.

No, you may not park in a Reserved/Personal parking space at any time. There are a number of parking spaces on campus that are designated as "RESERVED" spaces. Each reserved space is clearly painted and posted with a sign designating it for a specific permit number (i.e. "Reserved Parking 001"). Parking is not permitted in a reserved space at any time, regardless of the time of day or day of the week. Parking in a reserved space is not permitted by anyone other than the holder of that reserved permit number. Violators may be cited and/or towed at the owner's expense.
There is timed parking on city streets surrounding the University allowing for 90 minute or three-hour parking.
Parking in front of homes on residential city streets near the University is prohibited weekdays where posted and violators may be cited and/or towed by the City of La Verne. On weekends parking on residential streets may be permitted; please check posted signs before parking. If you are unsure of where to park on city streets, please contact the City of La Verne.

You may appeal a citation within 10 days from the date the citation was issued. Follow the instructions under #4 on the reverse of your citation or go to https://laverne.thepermitstore.com to make an appeal. The appeal review is based on the University Vehicle Code. Please do not contact Campus Safety or Transportation and Parking Services regarding your appeal as they will be unable to assist you. If you do not pay or appeal the citation within 10 days of issuance, the fine will increase.
A second-level appeal process is available for those who would like reconsideration of the original decision. Email your appeal to email@example.com for review by the Citation Appeals Committee, which is comprised of students, faculty members and staff members. Once the Citation Appeals Committee has reviewed the appeal, it will give a disposition on the appeal, which is final. The disposition will be returned by email and any fines will be due within seven (7) days of the mailing date and can be paid online at http://laverne.thepermitstore.com. You must complete the initial appeal process prior to moving forward with a second-level appeal process.
The University contracts with a local tow company (Sanders Towing, 344 W. Arrow Highway, San Dimas, 909-599-3178). Vehicle owners are responsible for retrieving vehicles from the tow company storage yard and will be liable for the tow fee ($185) and storage fees ($50/day). Please do not contact Campus Safety or Transportation and Parking Services if your vehicle is towed as they will be unable to assist you.
Yes, but remember to register all vehicles on line and place your removable parking permit in the car you are driving. Employees are permitted to register three vehicles under the same parking permit account; Students are permitted to register two vehicles under the same parking permit account . Only one permit per person is issued. Parking permits are decals and may be removed and replaced easily.
Remove your old vehicle from your account and register the new one by going to the My La Verne portal and clicking on Staff Resources or Student Resources, then choosing "Manage Vehicles".
NO. Permits are nontransferable, and you will be held responsible for all citations issued against your permit account regardless of the vehicle in which it is displayed.
You should report lost or stolen parking permits to Transportation and Parking Services as soon as possible. Recovered permits must also be reported immediately. Do not use a recovered permit without first notifying Transportation and Parking Services. Use of a lost or stolen permit may result in a fine, tow (at owner/operator expense), and/or disciplinary action.
There are parking spaces designated for motorcycles in Lots E, I, J, H1, B, O and on the ground floor of the parking structure. Motorcycles may also park in striped areas in any parking lot on campus. Motorcycles do not require a parking permit unless they are parking in a regular parking stall.
Visitors and Guests may park in University lots or in the parking structure by displaying a daily permit. Daily permits may be purchased from either of the two the kiosks located on campus; in the driveway directly north of the parking structure or in Lot E (behind Wilson Library). The cost of a daily permit is $1.00/hour or $5.00/all day and the kiosks accept credit cards and exact change only.
