We have six passenger vans available for rent. Five of the vans seat eight (8) passengers, plus the driver. One van seats nine (9) passengers, plus the driver. If you need a van to transport cargo, please indicate that on the Transportation Request Form and we will rent one for you.

Chartered Bus/Van Reservations Chartered Bus/Van Reservations


Transportation and Parking Services offers chartered bus reservations to the university community on a first come first served basis. All requests for chartered bus rentals must be made through Transportation and Parking Services and should be submitted a minimum of 10 business days prior to the event date. Requests are subject to the availability of provider equipment.

Transportation and Parking Services will select the company to provide charter service to the campus. Only approved companies authorized to be on campus may be used for charter services. Rates for charter service will be determined by the type of vehicle that is requested and based on rates charged by the provider. The requester will be notified of the cost and service provider by Transportation and Parking Services.

Out of state charter, must be done through a charter company.  University vehicles and drivers will not be available.

To obtain an estimate for a trip, complete the Transportation Request Form and select the estimate option. If the estimate is accepted, written verification should be submitted to Transportation and Parking Services. The charter will be confirmed when written verification is received.

All transportation request forms must be complete with university funding information.   By submitting the form, the department is requesting service and will be responsible for associated charges unless written notice to cancel is received at least two business days prior to the trip.  Written notice should be sent to

Absolutely no containers of alcohol (opened or unopened), controlled substances or smoking will be permitted on any university or commercially chartered vehicle.  If alcoholic beverages are found, Transportation and Parking Services may:

  • Terminate the charter immediately and return all passengers to original pick-up location;
  • Deny refund issuance;
  • Refer the student group / organization to Judicial Affairs (if applicable);
  • Suspend the department's / organization's privileges to utilize chartered vehicles for future requests

Reserve a University Owned Vehicle Reserve a University Owned Vehicle


University vehicles may be reserved for use in conducting University business by contacting Transportation at (909) 448-4725 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. You will also be required to complete the Transportation Request Form.

Disclosure Statement: As with any vehicle, please note that maintenance/service/replacement issues sometimes become a factor in availability and use.  All vehicles in the University's vehicle fleet are subject to availability and may be removed from the fleet at any time.  

Vehicle Cancellation

Vehicle cancellations should be made as soon as possible. If the vehicle is not canceled or picked up on the date of scheduled reservation for a rental, a minimum one-day rental charge will be applied to the reserving department's account.

Vehicle Check Out Procedure

University vehicle(s) may be checked out from Transportation between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday.

Driver Criteria for University Vehicles

  1. Only University employees and authorized students are allowed to use University vehicles. Personal use of University vehicles prohibited.
  2. Employees and authorized students must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable by the standards of the University's vehicle insurance carrier.

Transportation and Parking Services and Risk Management maintain a current list of drivers authorized to operate University vehicles. Departments wishing to utilize University vehicles must annually furnish Risk Management with an updated list of employees authorized to operate a University vehicle using the Driver Authorization Request Form.

The driver roster is forwarded to the University's insurance representative for review.  The Risk Management office is notified if a driver's record is not approved, and will forward that information to the applicable department manager and employee.  Said employee may not drive University vehicles or drive their personal vehicle for University until any problem arising from the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) review is resolved.
