Transportation and Parking Services and Risk Management maintain a current list of drivers authorized to operate University vehicles. Departments wishing to utilize University vehicles must annually furnish Risk Management with an updated list of employees authorized to operate a University vehicle using the Driver Authorization Request Form.
The driver roster is forwarded to the University's insurance representative for review. The Risk Management office is notified if a driver's record is not approved, and will forward that information to the applicable department manager and employee. Said employee may not drive University vehicles or drive their personal vehicle for University until any problem arising from the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) review is resolved.
